NASENDOSCOPY

This endoscopic examination of the nasal cavities allows the specialist to visualise the entire structure of the nose, back of the mouth, the throat (larynx) and the vocal cords. Pathology such as nasal septum deviation, nasal polyps, adenoid enlargement, post nasal drip and vocal cord nodules can be identified. It is a very accurate diagnostic procedure for investigation of nasal blockage, nasal bleeding, throat irritation and husky voice. It is also very useful in managing snoring by identifying the level of upper airway obstruction.
